Devils Do Cry

A devil coming back to his roots.

I usually finish a game that I like within 2 days. Games like Metal Gear Solid3, Onimusha series, Splinter Cell, and of course, Devil May Cry. Why? The story, of course. Although some games really doesn't require deep storylines, it has to have one to keep me from playing. It is in this aspect that MGS3 has been successful. And right now, DMC3 isn't too far behind. Capcom games usually are a letdown when you get to the end, you'll always feel that after completing the game, that's it?! But here, I guess they have learned their lesson. And the better dubbing doesn't hurt as well. This game though, is a prequel to the original DMC. It showsa younger Dante and maybe, due to his youth, a cockier one. Which is really cool. Whenever I watch the cutscenes, I either catch myself with my mouth gaping open from seeing something really cool or smiling with Dante's lines. It has inspired me to do some pretty cool action scenes for my manga, which is always a good thing. That's another reason I have to finish the games within 2 days, I have work to do, and having a good game will always bother me if I'm not playing it. So I finish it and forget about it quick. Hehe! Now I can work non-stop.
Last movie seen: Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events.
Last CD I listened to: Sugarfree's Dramachine

Q!

Well, I'm quite surprised that people still don't know that Questor magazine has been closed down. nearly a month now. That's why you don't see it in the stands anymore. It's sap that it had to happen but I guess everything meets its end eventually. And Q's life is a short one. When Iwas part of the Q team, we had a lot of fun, the staff were my friends and coming to the office didn't really seem like regular work to me. So I enjoyed the whole experience. Can't say it was flawless though. Anyway, I hope my Q friends will have their own breaks like mine. They surely deserve it. I'm finishing my contribution to Marco Dimaano's KIA, along with my regular NML pages. This has been a busy busy week. Sigh.

Nostalgia

Awwwww....

When my mom was going through her usual cleaning, she stumbled upon a pile of old papers. Among the birth certificates and other documents, she found this. It's a letter of mine when I was 6 years old! Oh, God! It brought a few giggles from my family and girlfriend when I let them read it. Hehehe! It's actually kinda cute. Imagine a 6 year old writing this... and the permanship's quite good for that age, if I do say so myself. Heh!
It'sbeen toolong since my last post. I'vebeen busy with No Man's Land Volume 2 and finishing my contribution on Marco Dimaano's KIA. Hopefully, I'll finish KIA this coming week. It's taken too long, I'm a bit embarassed with how long it took. Sigh. The life of a manga-ka. Can't say I don't like it. It's a bit tiring but it'sworth it. Doing something you really know and enjoy... while staying at home and get paid still. Now, who doesn't want that, huh? But the downside would be, since you're at home, everything is within your reach. The TV, PS2, DVDs, plus you can go out anytime. I guess what I need is more discipline. Yes, that's it... that's hard.
