Careful What You Wish For...

I never thought I'd find this here.

I met up with Belo yesterday, he was supposed to give me their wedding invitation. But unfortunately, he forgot to bring them, instead, he handed me some CDs that I might enjoy listening to. After accompanying him on buying a Sony-Ericsson K700i for Mitch, we walked around the people-infested Greenhills (usual this time of the year). And whenever I am at GH, Inever fail to pass by my favorite toy shops there. The other one had a second-hand Darth Maul figure from their Unleashed line. Perfect for my collection! Although it had missing accessories like his dual saber (Damn!) and that swirly energy thing, I decided to buy it still... at P500, it's a steal! I don't think I'd find it anywhere else. Hehe! Anyway, I'll find a way to fix it. Give him those sabers by hook or by crook. Anyway, after a couple more minutes, we parted ways and I'm off to anothermall where I'll wait for a bus. As I walked by another toy shop, I saw... Darth Vader! Ican't believe it! After telling myself that I won't be able to find it here, I did! And I got it. And I went home a happy guy! Stranded in the rain, but happy nonetheless.
As for the dual sabers, I got him one. What's missing with the accessories were two red plastic sabers that you're supposed to put in that dual-slot hilt he's carrying. After much experimentation, I got a plastic straw, printed red paper and put that piece of paper inside the straw. Perfect! Could be better but it'll do. It serves its purpose well for now.
Well, I can see my collection growing already. They're mostly villain, mainly because villains look cooler that thegood guys. The only good guy I have is Mace Windu, which I wouldn't have chosen but it's included in theset. Most people I show the collection to prefer him though. Next would be Emperor Palpatine. I'll wait for my next payslip. Hehe!
It's been raining a lot these days, and there's anothertyphoon coming up by tomorrow or Thursday, hopefully, it won't be as bad. The news sez there's around 300 people dead already due to floods, landslides and even electrocution. I just hope there won't be any more casualties in the next few days. It's really sad. It's something that you can't do anything about.

Listening to: TOOL, Tonic, Temple of the Dog (All T's?! I didn't notice that...)
